The History of the Red Moon Wolves
Ancient Remnants of the Red Moon pack washed up on the shores of Luna Island almost half a millennium ago. There they found the beginnings of the Shadow Wolf Pack, who had claimed the land to the north. Naturally, there was conflict about Red Moon's arrival on the island. Wishing to avoid this conflict, the Red Moon wolves took the land to the south. Under the scrutinizing eye of the Shadow Wolf Pack, Red Moon began to build and expand their clan, until their power rivaled that of the Shadow Wolves. As Red Moon's power grew so did the arguments and conflicts between the two inhabiting packs. Eventually they turned into full-fledged enemies, and for fear of loss of lives on both sides, the packs remained on their respective sides of the island, only combating when both were in neutral territory on a hunt. Years later however, the arrival of the humans changed the game a little. With them occupying the eastern part of the island, the Packs both reached an agreement to avoid contact with them for fear of their secret coming out. The secret was short kept for a member of the Shadow Wolf was seen shifting by a human who had wandered outside of its territory. Fearing now that their secret was to be exposed to the world and even more so that packs would dispute over the existence of the humans, a new pact was formed between the three sides, proposing peace amongst all. With the new agreement in place, there has been an uneasy peace on the Island of Luna for over a century.
Background of the Current Pack
The Red Moon Pack is a very traditional pack. They value honor and integrity, as well as skill in their pack. They are quick to show pack pride when provoked but otherwise remain calm. The Red Moon Pack has grown civilized from watching the humans, integrating the human's technology into their everyday lives. Their combat ability is frightening, unlike the Shadow Wolves who like to hunt, Red Moon wolves train almost exclusively in Wolf-to-Wolf combat, due to the fact that they had to learn to defend themselves when they first arrived on the island. They do not respect the Lone Wolves, especially ones who had ties to the Red Moon wolves, seeing them as inferior for choosing to abandon the ways of the werewolf and live amongst themselves and humans. The progenirator of the Red Moon pack died centuries ago leaving behind an Heir many deemed unfit to rule the throne. Under the rule of the unfit heir, the Red Moon tribe suffered a great many causalities and barely escaped war with the humans as well as the Shadow Wolves. Knowing that if he were left unchecked violence would occur the people of the Red Moon tribe put forth the newly anointed leader of the Herveaux family, Kalcide to fight for the Alpha position. After an intense battle to the death, Kalcide emerged victorious, and the new Alpha of the Red Moon Pack, under his new reign peace has been restored for now....
Packs Guidelines
1.)Do not be caught by humans changing (No longer in effect as of the humans seeing Shadow Wolf member change)
2.)Do not harm humans unless hunted
3.)Do not cross into the other packs territory, if broken severe punishment will be rendered
4.)An Alpha challenge must be accepted by three or more pack elders.
5.) Upon a younglings first transformation they must be assigned a master to teach them the ways of the pack
