History of Cybertron in a nutshell
The metal world of Cybertron is inhabited by a race of advanced Cybernetic organisms. They are machines that are able to feel, think, show emotions, and choose their own fates. With the establishment of Space bridges Cybertrons were able to travel vast distances between the stars. They set up many Colonies. Velocitron and Junkinon are examples of colonies. With interstellar trades, Cybertron became a place of great advances in science and culture. This was the golden age of Cybertron. All races in the galaxy could be found in the Cybertronian markets.
That was MegaCycles of Megacycles that the Golden Age lasted. At the end of the golden Age, Cybertron began to decline. A caste system was implemented and Cybertronians became restricted to serve a functions. They were made to fill the role of their caste. Cybertronians with Jet Altforms were put into the Seekers, the air defense forces of Cybertron. Others Cybertronians models were restricted to other castes. There were scientist castes, leadership castes, programer castes and artist castes. Cybertron was divided by Thousands of Castes that made Cybertron function like a well oiled machine. With Order and Structure, Cybertron existed in Peace with itself, its colonies, and the rest of the Universe. Every Cybertronian had his function and place and their was not room for questioning their purpose.
Cybertron lived in peace with the castes for many Megacycles. As time went on the space Bridges collaped from lack of maintenance and communications with the colonies and the rest of the universe. Cybertron stood alone in the skies. Time kept flowing nonetheless and as time passed the golden age of Cybertron faded into myth and legend. Even too did the famous colonies. Cybertronians went about their lives in ignorance of the past. They did as their castes told and they believed 'this has how it always have been." Cybertron was stagnant and all worked in perfect order.
But the lower castes became uncontent with the way they had to work dangerous forges while the higher caste perfected the arts. The High Council of Cybertron noticed this malcontent and to quell it they turned a blind eye to a growing amusement among the lower and even some of the higher castes, Gladiators. Though officially outlawed, Gladiators were still made and every city had a ring. Even the Capital City of Iacon. Gladiators were not given a name when made because they assumed they would die. Those gladiators who survived long enough and became crowd pleasers could eventually choose there name. Beneath the industrial city of Koan, a gladiator rose above all others and was undefeated. When he was asked by the ring heads to be defeated he dismantled them and in a declaration to assert himself as head of the Gladitorial ring of Koan, the nameless gladiator gave himself a name straight from Cybertronian Lore. His name was Megatronus.
